Terms of Use

These Terms govern use of GetTheReps and its scheduling, messaging, workout, progress, profile, and billing tools. Read them before creating an account. If you do not agree, do not create an account or use the service.
1. What GetTheReps provides
GetTheReps is a technology platform connecting coaches, athletes, and families. Coaches independently provide their lessons, instructions, workouts, and services. A listing, rating, workout template, or auto-built plan is not an endorsement, verification of qualifications, or guarantee of safety or results. GetTheReps does not supervise lessons, inspect equipment or facilities, or provide medical care.
2. Use at your own risk — physical activity
Lessons, workouts, drills, and sports involve risks, including falls, collisions, overexertion, equipment failure, serious injury, permanent disability, and death. You voluntarily assume the inherent risks of participation, to the extent permitted by law, including when using activities or information found through GetTheReps.
Choose activities appropriate to your health, age, ability, and environment. Discuss health restrictions with an appropriate healthcare professional and your coach. Use suitable equipment and supervision. Stop an activity that causes pain or feels unsafe. GetTheReps is not an emergency service; contact local emergency services when needed. Platform content is not a substitute for individualized medical advice.
3. Injury liability and release
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, GetTheReps and its operators are not responsible for injuries, death, property damage, or other losses arising from participation in lessons, workouts, drills, or activities arranged, assigned, or discovered through the platform. To that extent, you release GetTheReps and its operators from claims arising from those activities, including claims based on ordinary negligence.
This provision does not exclude liability for gross negligence, reckless or intentional misconduct, fraud, or any liability or right that applicable law does not allow to be excluded or waived. It does not waive a minor’s rights where such a waiver is prohibited. Your coach may require separate participation agreements; these Terms do not replace them.
4. Accounts, parents, and minors
Provide accurate information, protect your login, and use only accounts you are authorized to access. Coaching accounts must be managed by adults. Athletes under 13 must have a parent or legal guardian create and manage their account. Athletes who are minors should review these Terms with their parent or guardian and obtain any permission required by law. A parent creating or managing an account confirms their authority to do so and is responsible for appropriate supervision.
Agreement to these Terms does not replace any separate parental notice or consent required by children’s privacy laws. Contact us with questions about an athlete’s account or access permissions.
5. Coach responsibilities
Coaches are responsible for accurate profiles, appropriate qualifications, required licenses and insurance, safe instruction, athlete suitability, supervision, facilities, equipment, and compliance with applicable laws. Review all drill templates and auto-built plans before assigning them. Obtain any necessary participant and guardian permissions, and do not represent that GetTheReps certifies your services.
6. Payments and scheduling
Coaches set lesson prices, payment methods, cancellation terms, and refund policies. Unless expressly stated otherwise, payments take place outside GetTheReps. Payment records and invoices track information; reporting a payment does not verify receipt or transfer money. Resolve lesson, payment, and refund questions with the coach. Verify dates, locations, and displayed time zones. Notifications and reminders are not guaranteed.
7. Content and acceptable use
Only upload or share content you have the right and permission to use, including photos of athletes. You retain ownership of your content and grant GetTheReps permission to store, process, and display it as needed to provide the features you use and the sharing choices you make. Do not upload unlawful content, harass others, impersonate anyone, misuse personal information, bypass access controls, or disrupt the service. Do not rely on public profiles or messages for confidential medical care.
8. Service availability and warranties
The website is currently in development. To the extent permitted by law, it is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of uninterrupted operation, accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or specific training outcomes. Features may change and errors or outages may occur. Keep copies of important schedules and records. Any legally required warranties remain unaffected.
9. Other limitations of liability
To the extent permitted by law, GetTheReps is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits, missed lessons, or loss of data arising from use of the service. These limitations remain subject to the exceptions in Section 3 and do not restrict non-waivable consumer rights.
10. Access and changes to these Terms
We may restrict or suspend access for misuse, security concerns, or violations of these Terms, subject to applicable law. You may stop using the service and contact us about your account. Updated Terms will have a new version date; we will provide notice and seek renewed agreement when required. Changes do not retroactively remove rights that have already arisen. If a provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply to the extent permitted by law.
